Anyway. Still unfinished! But I don’t know if I’ll ever finish it and I’m going to stop working on it for now. Will get back to it in a month.

’Invictus’ has become the title for these character’s story. Important title to me. And to them. ’Invictus’ means ‘ I have not been conquered.’

Because the story revolves around Noir, it is especially important.
Life has not conquered Noir. Just as Death has not conquered Laquel. Oblivion has not conquered Alpha. Insanity has not conquered Ophelia. Grief has not conquered Lethe, and the weight of immortality has not conquered Sirindair.

BTW, the characters are (from front to back, running clockwise) Noir Everdark, Laquel Caratasa(nicknamed Hunter) Alpha (at the very back), Ophelia Everdark, Sirindair De Valois, and Lethe Shadowsoar wearing the cloak over her head.

I like this pic. As I said it’s unfinished but the point of it so far, was to make it sketchy and to keep the linework. It was very much an experiment to do something different, for me. I need to colour it -properly- now and still keep an element of my linework. And the sketchy. ; Once I do that, I can consider this finished. <3
