Naruto looked like he had just closed his eyes and fallen asleep, after the hard battle.

That was all.

But he wasn’t breathing.

He wasn’t breathing and Sasuke’s hand shook as he reached out to touch him.

Sasuke and Naruto, fighting together side by side at last, win their respective battles… but the cost is a high one.

I did this pic just over a month ago. Spent about 12 hours or so fighting with it. <3 It was an image I had in my head since I started RPing Naruto- hence this is more my RP Naruto version than anything else. ;

Yes, Naruto is dead.

I was putting off posting it but because I’m still bouncing over the most recent ep of Naruto… I caved. ;;

There’s a piece of Naruto music that got me to finish this pic too, called God’s Will, from the Shippuuden movie. If you’re curious, I’ve uploaded it here.

It’s a stunning bit of music…

Also, Naruto and Sasuke are actually somewhere in Practise Area #44( The Forest of Death… ) in this pic. :nods:

EDIT: Okay… this is NOT CANON. Which means it has not happened! It HASN’T! ;.; Srsly.

… also, Sasuke did not kill Naruto in this pic. (Should have made that clear before. @o;;

Oh my goodness... this is so grand!! I'm actually about to cry over this awesomeness!
This also got me thinking... what if Naruto did die (or everyone thought he did or something) and how would Sasuke react? I believe he would lose the sanity he just got back. The more I'm thinking about this... he would probably resort to forbidden jutsu to bring him back. That would be a twist! Sasuke going to the ends of the earth to save Naruto now?

As cool of a twist as that would be, I don't see it happening. I mean, Sasuke has tried to kill kakashi, sakura, and naruto by this point.
Unfortunately, I think he's a lost cause. :/ I would love to see something like this happen though.

I almost agree with you... I mean just by himself or the others he's totally lost. But I have faith in Naruto, I don't think there's anything he can't do! And since he's been stuck on bringing Sasuke back for like four years now I think he will.

I like to think that, but I'm not gonna hold my breath, you know? unfortunately I expect something more along the lines of valley of the end part 2 is more likely to happen.

Nooo, I really hope not! I have to stay optimistic! I mean Sasuke just had a major breakthrough (I think) in the manga... so... he should be getting better, I hope.
