This wasn't meant to be a tribute to chapter 500 but after reading it I was driven to finish this up last Friday. I think Kushina is amazing and I wish we could see more of her. I love the connection she and Naruto have. Chapter 500 left me a little heartbroken and chapter 501 is set to do the same.

I find the concept of a parent's joy with their newborn child being stolen away just heart wrenching. ... even if it is fictional.

So, this is a 'if Kushina had lived' image.
