The blade has Lee’s scent all over it- along with blood and some kind of oil Naruto cannot identify, but mostly Lee’s scent…. Naruto gives himself a self-congratulatory grin and a mental pat on the back and goes to pick up said sword. He reaches down, grabs the hilt, goes to swing it up and-

- curses.

Loudly.

…. Goddamn Fuzzybrows! Has to make –everything- ten times more difficult than it frickin’ NEEDS to BE!

So.

Lee’s sword is heavy.

Lee’s sword isn’t just heavy though. Lee’s sword is what Naruto would dub as, Insanely Frickin’ Heavy.

So, Naruto abandons it to find Lee’s pack and is almost annoyed when it’s not that difficult to do either, heads back to said sword and eyes it up. Darkly.

Frickin’ Lee and his frickin’ heavy sword.

Naruto grits his teeth. Naruto crouches and hefts up Lee’s sword. Naruto winces at the weight and curses Lee again, mentally.

Right.

Gonna kill Lee then. Yep. That’s a plan. A good plan. Naruto likes that plan. Drags himself and Lee’s Insanely Frickin’ Heavy Sword back to his dilapidated hut and contemplates the different ways of killing Lee for having such a heavy sword every step of the way.

Yessir and there are a lot of them…

Because no sword has a right to be this heavy and Naruto has to struggle all the way back with it and he has the sneaking suspicion that Lee doesn’t. In general. Struggle with his sword that is and okay, sure, if Naruto wanted to use some demon charka he’s sure he could swing this thing around his shoulders like a baton but Naruto doesn’t.

Ever.

Use that chakra.

… well. Only as a veryvery last resort.

His arrival ‘home’ is heralded by his mutinous muttering first of all and secondly the slow drag of his feet, uncommonly loud for Naruto, as he pauses in the doorway, and looks at Lee for a long moment.

“Yo,” Naruto greets, and drops the dead weight from his shoulder to the ground where the impact leaves not only a decided indent in the ground but also stirs up enough dust and sand to obscure Naruto who is holding his breath for a moment afterward…

“Your sword is heavy,” he points out eventually, a bit unnecessarily.

I get such a kick out of role-playing Naruto, I really do, he's just FUN.

I did this pic a while ago but wasn’t completely happy with it and got bits wrong so I never posted it. Forgot about fixing it and never posted it… but fixed it today and said I’d post it finally. @o :is slow:
Still not 100% happy with it but that was the initial sketch that was wrong and fixing that would require me redoing the whole thing which… ah… No. So… this’ll have to do. X_x <3<3

Again ‘tis my RP Naruto so he’s older and verytanned and a bit rough around the edges. :nods: But still essentially Naruto (really. ; ) And Lee should probably be wearing his Anbu outfit in this but I completely forgot because I suck. ;.; This pic is supposed to be after they get back to Konoha (and Naruto gets a new coat yay! : is sad : x.x; )
