So, Squall is my favourite FF character. Ever. ( close second is Zidane but that’s neither here nor there. ; ) And I’ve been on a bit of a Squall splurge lately. Thanks to a certain RP. : coughs :
I did this pic about two weeks ago? I was going to hold off posting it a bit longer because I have other stuff to post too but what-the-hell. ; <3 And hah, peeps on my LJ are gonna kill me. I went for this random title after asking them for one. XD;
I adore Squall~! YesIdo.
He’s cold, yes. He’s an introvert, yes. He’s downright abrasive, yes. He’s unsure in himself, yes. These are qualities that give Squall that thing we like to call ‘depth~’.
(I’m not even going to use the distancing-people-as-a-defence-mechanism card- because it wouldn’t matter, he’d still kick ass without it.)
He’s a seventeen year old boy who gets shoved into the position of commander and despite that fact that he’s a bit freaked out internally he does his duty and fulfils that roll and y’know what? He does it well.
His peers respect and actually –like- him. Why? Because Squall though a bit of a bastard has this ingrained sense of responsibility that means that even if he doesn’t want the friends, he’ll protect them, even if he hates the thought of being a leader, he’ll do it so that no one else has the chance to screw it up(his own words.)
He’s resourceful. Dedicated. Reliable. Trustworthy. Loyal.
People can say whatever they want to the contrary, but I think Squall was one of the most believable and flawed and insightful and most well fleshed out FF leads - ever.
… plus y’know, he’s real easy on the eyes.
And if Squeenix give me even ONE nice Squall FMV in FF: Dissidia then I will be forever happy. Srsly. ;.;

I wanted to do something with him and his first GF in the game- Shiva. For some reason I always kept Shiva with Squall. No idea why. (Shiva and Cerberus. ;; )
The gunblade he has here is Lionheart. It kicks ass.
And his earring is on the wrong ear. ; Ignore that?
