Waterweaver~!
Which I started on my birthday if I remember correctly. Finished it last weekend though. And it was fun. A task too, as I’m not used to colouring inked stuff and I don’t like the linework and still want to colour over those lines but… am making myself not.

There will be another version of this out soon enough, and I’ll probably make it available in print form.

Anyway, in the foreground is Kalanis, as a child obviously. Who cannot actually waterweave( being the ability to manipulate water) ironically enough as an adult but who used to be able to sort of, as a child.
Behind him, is a portrait of Lethe, one of his guardians. I particularly like how she came out and might stick up the portrait of her on its own.

They’re both a species I created, called Firstborn. But I suppose if they had to be likened to an animal (and because several of my friends have made this observation Oo) then I guess they would kind of… sort of. Maybe. Be dragons. … sort of.
